It was a super hot day at but you would never guess it looking at Kayley’s beautiful bridal portraits at Crescent Park in New Orleans. She made this session in the summer heat look effortless and we joked about how the sweat gave her a glow in the photos!
Crescent Park has to be one of my favorite parks to visit and photograph in the city of New Orleans. Bridal portraits at Crescent Park is truly one of my favorites here in New Orleans. Something about it feels like it belongs to the locals, maybe it’s the huge wall that surrounds the park that keeps it like a hidden oasis from our local tourist. Don’t let the wall fool you though, climb the rusted Crescent shape bridge to get a beautiful view of the Mississippi River and some of the park!
We started our portraits at the Mandeville Wharf and then headed to where you could see the New Orleans Skyline and eventually ending at the rusted Crescent shaped bridge.
Before this session with Kayley happened, I asked her what look and vibe she was going for when taking her bridal portraits and as well as prepped her with these tips that i’m going to share below on how to beat the heat and look great even though it’s summer time…in New Orleans.
When planning for pre-bridals, especially in the summer.
All of that with a good attitude and trusting your photographer will get you some gorgeous photos. I’m so glad Kayley was just up for it and made the best out of a humid-sweaty situation!
